Rehearsal Dinner

Sometimes I have amazing people in my life who give me amazing opportunities. Jessica Peterson, a photographer that I look up to immensely, referred this lovely family to me as their photographer for their rehearsal dinner. It was events like this, that remind me I'm definitely in the right field of work. I was in awe all evening over the beauty and culture these two families shared. Also, the "rehearsal dinner" was more of an event than my own wedding. A destination, with five hours long with speeches and dancing, musical numbers and incredible food.  Here are a few of my favorites from the evening.

Hutchen Family

So theres this family. You know, THAT family--the family that you want to be like when you grow up. So of course I HAD to take their pictures. I have this love affair with their little cannon. We call him the cannon ball. And then theres Ava.. every time I turn around shes posed against the wall or on the chair, "here you can take my picture here if you want!" I'm obsessed.

it happened. FINALLY. he came home. they have a spot, so she waited there. lots of waiting actually, not only the two years--soooomeone was getting pretty (ahem sam) and the anticipation built for almost an HOUR up on that hill. :] totally worth it. every second was worth the wait.
